Resort style waterfront living, located east of St Pete beach, north of Tierra Verde only two miles from Fort De Soto beaches and only 30 minutes to Tampa airport.
Isla Del Sol is a special community, the build out started in 1957
The biggest attraction is a world class Yacht and Country club with a huge 78 slip marina that can accommodate yachts and sailboats and an 18 hole championship golf course. Shoppers Village is the little strip mall right off Pinellas Bayway, it has a few stores, a restaurant, a snadwich place a bank and so  on. Isla del sol consist of town homes, villas and condos,
Nearly all of them between 800 and 1200 square feet and real estate prices start in the low $ 200,000. A 2 bedroom 2 bath waterfront condo in good condition with beautiful views is about $300,000 to $400,000. Isla del Sol was originally laid out for 4300 units it now has about 3600 households.  Isla del Sol has different subdivisions such as Isla Key, Bahia del Mar, La Puerta del Sol, Vista de Oro, Palm del Mar, Casa Del Mar. The Island is about 350 acres and is surrounded by water.

Living in Isla feels like you are on a permanent vacation. Lots of Palm trees and tropical landscaping, there are lakes and fountains on the island and everything is just very clean and pretty. Isla del sol is all about lifestyle, it has great fishing areas, little beaches to swim, some shopping, a few places to eat, long walkways and great sunsets. Other than most areas here in Tampabay Saint Petersburg, Isla Del Sol has a lot of vacation rentals and most people use their property as second homes. Isla has a very laid back feeling and when it comes to waterfront real estate values, you get a lot for your money.
