Are you moving to Treasure Island or coming on vacation?
Here are some places you might want to check out.
For breakfast all the locals go to Foxy’s, it is on 107th Ave in Treasure Island
on the north side on the shopping centre.
Café Berlin, on 107 Ave also east side of shopping centre serves German food and has very reasonable prices.
Or you can go to Sloppy Joes on Gulf BLVD, the food is great and it is right on the beach. Another choice is Caddys on Sunset beach, I am not too fond of their food, but the location is fantastic, it sits right in the sand.
If you are in the mood for Mexican food, the VIP bar on Gulf blvd corner of 107Ave is a good place. We also have a waffle house on Treasure Island on Gulf Blvd and a little restaurant called Grouper in the Thunderbird resort.
For dinner, you might want to go to a real local place called the R bar, on Tuesdays and Thursday they have all you can eat crab legs which would be much better without the horrible music they have. . . ah well. Treasure Island also features a great fine dinning restaurant, the Perl, awesome place fantastic food, you have to go. The newest place in town is the middle grounds grill, I love their deserts and that’s about it. Captain Kosmacos is a Steakhouse right at the bridge to St. Pete beach and the food is good. You could also go to Gigi’s, the Italian place in Treasure Island.
Drinks, well you have to go to Ricky T’s on Gulf Blvd and the corner of 106 Ave. This is a must; everybody goes there, all the local people and the snowbirds. They have live music every day and you can sit inside or outside. Great at atmosphere, you will meet the whole neighborhood in one night.
Oh, lets me also mention Gators, on the north end of Treasure Island.
Great place right on Johns Pass they also have live music.
Treasure Island is a fun town with lots of places to go, something fun to do for everybody
