St. Pete Beach. Parent-Child Swim Lessons Focus on Safety
St. Pete Beach, FL: The St. Pete Beach Community Center and Aquatic Complex will be offering Parent-Child Swim Lessons this spring and summer for children ages six months to three years. The classes emphasize water adjustment, parenting skills and water safety, with special attention given to the varying development stages of this age group. Goals for this class include the child’s enjoyment and adjustment in and around the water while instructing parents how to assist in the development of their children’s future swimming skills. Classes are held at the St. Pete Beach Aquatic Complex, 7701 Boca Ciega Drive, Monday through Thursday for two consecutive weeks with morning or evening class times available. Lessons are $35.00 for St. Pete Beach residents and $40.00 for Non-Residents. The next session begins May 31st and other sessions will be offered through August.
