junior guards get a headstart on lifeguarding in St. Pete Beach, FL

The St. Pete Beach Family Aquatic Center offers youth ages 10 and up a chance to get a head start on lifeguarding.  The Junior Guard program is a series of eight classes using video instruction, discussion and skill practice to teach students first aid, CPR and water safety.  After completion of the program, candidates may be eligible for the Junior Lifeguard Volunteer Program.  The program will be held this summer from June 22nd to July 2nd and again from July 6th to July 16th at the

St. Pete Beach Community Center, 7701 Boca Ciega Drive.  Classes are from 10:00am to noon, Monday through Thursday.  Call the Aquatic Center at 363-9264 for more information or to enroll.
