Free “Every Child a Swimmer” Program in St. Pete Beach

 

St. Pete Beach, FL:   The Kiwanis Club of Gulf Beaches together with the City of St. Pete Beach is proud to offer the “Every Child a Swimmer” Water Safety and Survival Program at the St. Pete Beach Pool, 7701 Boca Ciega Drive.  This free program is for non-swimmers in Kindergarten through 5th grades and aims to make sure every participant learns the basic swimming techniques to ensure their safety and to help them enjoy a lifetime of fun.  The program runs from May 7th to May 24th with classes held Monday through Thursday of each week and those selected will have a choice of a 5pm or 5:45pm class time.  Registration is limited and those interested can sign up on a first-come basis at the St. Pete Beach Pool from 5pm to 6:30pm on Thursday, May 3rd.  A parent or guardian must be present to complete paperwork.  For more information, call 363-9264.
