About Indian Shores living, buying and selling homes or condos

Written by Anne Hensel South Beaches Real Estate Professionals Inc.

Indian Shores, what a lovely laid back and relaxes beach town. It is just about 2.65 miles of beach front, many more mile of waterfront and intracoastal waterways and only 1,500 people live here. In the season when the snowbirds come in, Indian Shores grows to about 5000 people. The motels, hotels and condos, are filled between January and May. A big attraction in our little waterfront paradise is the Suncoast Seabird Sanctuary. It is a non-profit organization and its mission is the "rescue, help and release" of rehabilitated, sick and injured wild birds that are native to the Gulf Coast of Pinellas County and Tampabay. Birds like cormorants, brown pelicans and white egrets. The sanctuary is open to the public every day and you have to go and check it out. Indian Shores also has nice waterfront and beachfront parks, a few restaurant and stores. I always feel that time just goes a little slower in Indian Shores and I love to take long walks on the beach or take a boat and check out some beautiful waterfront homes and waterfront condos. Does not matter where you are in Indian Shores, the mainland is only a few minutes away and Park Blvd connects it to the beaches. India Shores is just about to finish a construction project to renew roads and electric lines that took years. It will be beautiful once it is completely done. Come visit Indian Shores here in Tampabay and see if you can't your dream home.
